After many years working as an architect and interior designer Julia Biatova started her brand with first jewellery collection BALANCE. Before leaving for Paris to work and continue studying at Sorbonne University and Architectural School La Villette, she studied painting and architecture in Kyiv. Currently she is living between her native Kyiv and Europe.
The inspiration behind this jewellery is in architecture and sculpture, in observation of Parisian girl’s style. The process of creation in architecture is a process of transition from chaos to balance and purity of form. This interaction between brutality and harmony is attractive both in architecture and art as well as in fashion and jewellery. Collection BALANCE is a continuation of work with form, composition, texture and different materials. Laconic jewellery, where the main role plays by clear geometry and balance between brutality and refinement – is universal, designed to be worn every day, to feel dressed both day and evening.
The entire collection is hand-made in Ukraine from recycled gold and silver, using river and sea pearls, semi-precious stones, diamonds and artificial corundum. Each piece exists in limited edition.
